Vancity Appointment Booking App - Product Management @ Brainstation
The Vancity Appointment Booking feature was an independent class project that was inspired by my time working at Vancity. The ultimate goal of this project was to create a product that solved a problem for users. Based off of my time working at Vancity I created a preliminary hypothesis about a problem I felt Vancity members were facing. By conducting user interviews I was able to see if my initial hypothesis was correct, needed to be tweaked, or needed to be abandoned. I used the feedback received from user interviews to guide the development of the Vancity Appointment Booking feature for their mobile banking app. The feature was designed to help members get in touch with Account Managers more efficiently.
X-MARTIAL Marketing Strategy - Digital Marketing @ Brainstation
XMartial is a martial arts brand located in my home province of British Columbia. They have no physical locations and thus rely on digital marketing and their online presence to attract customers and make a profit. In this project I conducted an audit of their current digital presence by using tools such as Similarweb, SEMrush, and Google Ads. My proposed strategy includes revamping their email marketing in addition improving their social media presence via more paid ads on Instagram and remarketing to those who have visited their Instagram page.
