General

I believe that you can't improve what you can't measure, which is why I emphasize research in all my work. I achieved my BA in Psychology and Media Communications from Simon Fraser University. I use my background in Psychology and Communications along with the knowledge I gained through certifications in UI/UX, Product Management, and Digital Marketing to solve a wide variety of problems facing those in this digital world.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I have been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2019 and am currently a Blue Belt. Consistently training has increased my work ethic, taught me how work under  pressures (figuratively and literally), and enhanced my on-the-fly problem solving skills. I compete regularly and most recently got 2nd place at Grappling Industries (Vancouver) in July.

Hiking

When the weather is nice there are few things more rewarding than reaching the peak of one of Vancouver’s many scenic hikes. I try to hike each summer and have gone to a number of different hiking trails throughout the province. Hiking is a great way to stay active while enjoying nature and the company of those around you. Being able to unplug and take a step back is huge as this ensures I don't overwork myself.

Cooking

During the COVID-19 Pandemic I started to learn how to cook. I enjoy cooking because I feel that I have the freedom to be both creative and technical. Cooking is not as scientific as baking and thus I have more leeway when trying something new.

Some of the meals I enjoy making are:

  • Chicken Skewers (Chicken, peppers, onions, pineapples)

  • Rice boiled in coconut milk and chicken stock with BBQ jerk chicken

  • Steelhead baked in soy sauce, maple syrup, and dijon mustard with green beans

  • Greek Pita Wraps
